ADAM · Powerplant System
ADAM Powerplant
A drop-in hybrid microturbine. Thrust, VTOL, and power in one package.
Overview
One unit. VTOL, jet speed, and power.
Wankel and turboprop hybrids give you onboard power but turn propellers and stay slow. Bare turbojets give you jet speed but no VTOL and no electrical generation. ADAM is one hybrid microturbine that gives you electric VTOL, jet-class cruise, and 6 kW of continuous power. No Rotax or Wankel hybrid can physically get there.
It's built to drop in. Connect your fuel line, bus, and throttle command, specify your voltage and amperage, and ADAM delivers a complete propulsion and power system to your spec, replacing battery power entirely. It runs on standard Jet A, kerosene, or diesel, so it fits the same fuel logistics as the rest of the force.

Capabilities
What surplus power gets you
eVTOL
Jet thrust and onboard generation together let the same unit drive electric lift props for vertical takeoff.
ISR & Denied Navigation
Surplus electrical output powers onboard sensors and computing without depending on external signals like GPS.
Electronic Warfare
Continuous generation feeds high-draw payloads for signal intercept, jamming, or spectrum denial.
Package Logistics
High thrust to weight ratio and electrical output support heavier payloads over longer ranges.
Energy Advantage
Why Fuel Beats Batteries

Energy Storage Comparison
| System | Energy Density | Stored Energy | Runtime at 6kW |
|---|---|---|---|
| ADAM (Jet A / Kerosene) | ~12,000 Wh/kg | ~50,400 Wh | Continuous, fuel-limited |
| LiPo battery pack | ~200 Wh/kg | ~840 Wh | ~8.4 minutes |
